Gypsy guitar backs, and sides are made up of three layers of selected veneers. Each layer is carefully sanded to specific thickness, and then laminated together in a mold here at AJL-guitars. This traditional Selmer construction makes the body both very light, and exceptionally strong. This procedure also allows for the back to be tuned to a desired thickness and flexibility.
