Maccaferri-style models

Which way you want

Selmer style models can be ordered with back and sides in mahogany, Indian rosewood or Brazilian rosewood.

For Brazilian rosewood, there are further possibilities: straight grain, subtly figured, highly figured, or exceptionally figured grain. Or, you can even choose which particular set you want your guitar to have from the current selection below.

Below you can see options for woods, parts, and features, that can be ordered for this guitar. Prices for them can be seen in the "Prices" section.

Model Ochestra

D-hole models sound more open, instead of straight shooting oval hole, You can hear your own sound better than with ovalhole.

The original Selmer-Maccaferri D-hole-guitar "Model Orcestra" had a 640 mm "short scale" and 12 fret neck. This shorter neck was a bit broader too. Shorter string length means less string-tension. D-hole models had also slightly different bracing compared to the top of oval-hole long scale model.

Shortscale or long scale

Many players still prefer the long scale string length (670mm) of 14 fret neck, Therefore I offer the D-hole model as a 12 fret shorter scale, or a 14 fret long scale

Resonateur

D-dole models can be ordered with internal resonator in original style.
