The original Selmer-Maccaferri D-hole-guitar had a 640 mm "short scale" 12 fret neck. This shorter neck was a bit broader too. Shorter string lengths have less tension and that model had a slightly different bracing compared to the top of a long scale model.
Many players still prefer the long scale string length (670mm) of 14 fret neck, Therefore I offer the D-hole model as a 12 fret shorter scale, or a 14 fret long scale
D-dole models can be ordered with an original internal resonator.
