There's no Straight grain backs and sides for Selmer-size at the moment on woods-section. I'm laminating new ones at the moment, there will be quite nice sets available in two weeks......!
-I'll also try to make some new excetionally figured sets in following weeks, so keep checking the website !

Clothespin day ! . - European guitars have different tradition on "kerflings", they're usually bent like sides or cut from leftover sides, so they already have almost right shape. after this edges will be trimmed and keflings will be routed to their "slanted" shape. After CITES paperworks, five guitars shipped to their new owners this week. XOs to Germany, Nebraska US, Lebanon and Sweden, one Gypsy Fire-model to Maryland US. Next week there will be one archtop ready to be shipped to Japan & one Model 503 to Sweden.

Here's two pics of custom guitar shipped to customer in Tasmania some time ago. It has laminated flamed maple back & sides with genuine MOP D-hole rosette, fingerboard inlays & tailpiece insert. Nickel plated AJL-tuners and tailpiece.
New Selmer size backs and sides are already almost sold,..new ones coming...asap...!
Back to work,...final assembly for Olli's 17" sunburst archtop and custom Gypsy-fire model to Tasmania,..also new order to Lebanon !!,..this gypsyswing fever seems to get some new territories...and then starting new batch, it will include guitars to f.e Canada, Japan, Nebraska/USA, New York/USA...
Silentguitar prototype ready, nickel plated AJL tuners, Miller "Argentines" -model pickup,..sounds great with argentines, or flatwounds,..even to Ipad's garageband or Iphone with earpads,..practice home when wife and neighbours are sleeping...or on stage with real tube amp.

-The Idea came from my friend Kimmo Iltanen, who has loud AJL X-O and He lives in a flat in Helsinki and He wants to keep his neighbours calm. So He wanted a guitar to practice, it should feel like a gypsyguitar, but have NO SOUND,..
But We thought we might still want to have "electric" sound,..so "Model Argentines" Miller "Stimer"-style pickup and volume control is there for that. It has laminated archtop body in Favino-size and open back to reduce acoustic sound. Top will also have foam glued to it's vibrating area.
